The BD-2 Blues Driver is, as the name suggests, a pedal suited perfectly for classic Blues sounds. With the "Level" and "Gain" tuned up slightly, you can get a smooth, responsive voice for the guitar to sing through your amp's clean channel. Push them for more of a boost, and you will also get some warm breakup remniscent of classic valve amplifers.

You can crank the dials further for a lot of crunch, and doing so while driving your amp's lead channel with the BD-2 will definitely result in distortion - nothing too heavy but definitely tone with some bite.

Like a Tube Screamer, the BD-2's ability of simulate tubes will provide solid-state users with some gentle valve-esque overdrive, but the real kicks are going to come from driving actual vacuum tubes for some actual Blues tone.
